Harmonizes Penetrating Vessel and Stomach;
Subdues Rebellious Qi and Blood.
| Inverted menstruation (epistaxis or hematemesis during menstruation). When the Stomach is deficient, its Qi cannot move downward properly to anchor the Qi of the penetrating vessel. This leads to an upward rebellion or gushing of the penetrating vessel's Qi. The blood follows the Qi upward, and inverted menstruation result. | Epistaxis during menstruation, with or without menstrual flow;
Hematemesis during menstruation, with or without menstrual flow.
