Warms Spleen-Yang and Kidney-Yang;
Diuretic.
| 1) Kidney Yang Deficiency, or Spleen and Kidney Yang Deficiency, with retention of pathogenic water (anuria, oliguria).
2) Externally-contracted Wind-Cold at the greater Yang-stage. | Ascites (cirrhosis of liver);
Chills;
Chronic enteritis;
Chronic nephritis;
Cirrhosis;
Congestive heart failure;
Cough;
Deep pain and heaviness of extremities;
Diarrhea;
Dizziness;
Feeling of pulsation in epigastrium;
Generalized oedema;
Loose stools;
Pain of the abdomen which is worse with cold;
Palpitations;
Spontaneous sweating that does not relieve the fever;
Tremors;
Vomiting;
Acute articular rheumatism;
Chronic bronchitis;
Dizziness;
Hypothyroidism;
Instability;
Intestinal tuberculosis;
Ménière's disease;
Primary hyperaldosteronism;
Primary hypertension;
Rheumatoid arthritis;
Sensation of heaviness of the head;
Pale or dark, swollen, tooth-marked tongue, slippery-white coating;
Tongue with a white-slippery coating;
Fine-Deep-Forceless pulse (Xi Chen Wu Li).
