Preparation
The unripe fruit is collected in winter to the next spring when the fruit is unripe, dried after boiled, cut longitudinally into two valves. The pericarp is peeled and known as "Da Fu Pi". The ripe fruit is collected from late spring to early autumn when the fruit is ripe, dried after boiled. The pericarp is peeled, taped to loosen, dried in the sun and known as "Da Fu Mao".;
