Preparation
The drug is collected in summer and autumn, removed from fibrous root, washed, boiled or steamed until absent from white spot on the cut surface, dried briefly in the sun, peeled to remove the outer tissue, and then dried in the sun. They are finally cut into slices, or ground into powder.;
